How do I check my balance?
You can check your card balance at any ATM or POS machine connected to the Iran Banking Network, known as the SHETAB Network.
Yes, you can make ATM withdrawals with a daily limit of 2,000,000 Rials (about $4) from Pasargad Banks. Additionally, you can view your transactions list at Pasargad Bank ATMs.

How do I apply for a refund?
While the application fee is non-refundable, any deposit made can be refunded with a transfer fee. Alternatively, you can visit a reputable exchange office to buy EUR or USD at the daily exchange rate with the remaining balance on your card (a minimum of 100,000 IRR should be left on the card).
Your PIN will be sent to you in a separate envelope for security reasons. If you haven't received it, please contact us for assistance.

How long does it take for a transaction to clear?
Transactions made through card readers (POS machines) are processed instantly.

Can I make online transactions?
Online transactions require a registered SIM card to process.

How can I change my PIN?
To change your PIN, follow the instructions provided in your welcome letter. Visit any ATM, select the option for English, enter your current PIN, and follow the prompts to update it.

How long do refunds take to process?
Refunds are processed when you leave Iran and are eligible if you have a remaining balance on your card. iRUN will return your balance via PayPal in EUR at the daily exchange rate, typically taking up to 10 working days. Keep in mind that due to sanctions, refunds may occur in multiple transactions.

Do merchants give receipts for purchases?
Yes, it is advisable to ask for a receipt every time you use your Iran tourist card. Most receipts will be in English.

Can I get a statement of my purchases?
You can review your transaction history and account balance at Pasargad Bank ATMs.
The card has a validity period of one year. After this period, you will need to apply for a new card.

How long will it take to be delivered?
Your Tourist Card will be issued and delivered to your hotel in Tehran within three days. To ensure a smooth delivery, inform iRUN of your collection time and location at least 48 hours before your arrival. If you need to change your hotel or appointment, please notify iRUN in advance.
