- Refunds: Cash & bank transfer refunds will be exchanged with daily competitive exchange rates in Iran. Online refunds carry an additional 7% transfer fee.

What are the ATM fees?
- No fees for daily withdrawals (max 2,000,000 IRR).
- A negligible 0.001% fee for transfers.

Are there subscription or annual fees?
Each Tourist Card has a fixed fee of $20.00 to set up. Once purchased, the card remains active for the duration of your travel and is valid for one year.

Are there any cancellation fees?
There are no cancellation fees. However, no refunds will be issued after the card is issued. You may deactivate and dispose of the Tourist Card at any time. Any remaining balance can be withdrawn in EUR or other major currencies at the nearest exchange office.

Do I receive any interest on my deposited funds?
No, interest is not provided. All unused balance must be withdrawn at the end of your trip.

Can I add additional users to my account?
For security, only one authorized user and PIN code are allowed per Tourist Card. Family members or travel companions will each need their own Tourist Card. Separate Tourist Cards are recommended for each family member above 18.

If your card is lost or stolen, notify your agent immediately. A replacement card costs $10, with funds transferred from your old account to the new card.

Note: You cannot transfer money from your card to another card.

Disabled or blocked card
If you enter your PIN incorrectly more than 3 times, your card will be blocked and disabled for security reasons. Please contact us if this occurs.

What happens if I miss the delivery appointment?
If you miss the initial appointment to receive your card, you must coordinate with your iRUN Digital Bank agent to send the card to another city. Cash cannot be exchanged for your card at that time. iRUN is not responsible for missed appointments.

How can I choose the city that my card will be delivered to?
Your card will be delivered exclusively to your hotel in Tehran. Cards are not delivered to border locations or other Iranian cities. Currently, delivery to Tehran airport requires a face-to-face meeting at your hotel.

I used all of my card balance. How can I top-up my card while I am in Iran?
Currently, the iRUN Digital Bank accepts cash deposits in EUR and USD only in Tehran, Isfahan, and Shiraz. For other cities, you can transfer funds online with a 7% transfer fee or exchange money and then transfer it to the iRUN bank account via the iRunPay.com website.
- You can recharge your debit card in Iran through PayPal, WISE, or bank transfer using a VPN.
- You may also ask someone outside Iran to transfer funds on your behalf via PayPal, WISE, or bank transfer.

You can check your card balance at any ATM or POS machine connected to the Iran Banking Network, known as the SHETAB Network.

How do I apply for a refund?
While the application fee is non-refundable, any deposit made can be refunded with a transfer fee. Alternatively, you can visit a reputable exchange office to buy EUR or USD at the daily exchange rate with the remaining balance on your card (a minimum of 100,000 IRR should be left on the card).
